Martin Palermo’s retirement
I will always remember that day as one of the happiest days
of my life. I started to work as a journalist from 2009, but I had never had
the chance of meet famous football players. In consequence, I felt very anxious
and excited when I knew that Martín Palermo will be here for his retirement.
It was a sunny day. I was too worried about not being late,
so I tried to persuade my father to take me to Rosario de Lerma, where the
press conference would take place. When I arrived, I started to feel more and
more nervous, because we had some problems to have the pass to the conference
and I did not want to stay out.

Luckily, I could get into the conference and enjoy my idol
talking in front of me. I could film and take pictures of him, that after I
could use for my work. In the afternoon, I covered his last football match in
Salta and I could take pictures too, very near of Palermo. That one meeting made
it a day I will never forget.
